About studying Law
Law is a university degree programme focused on the scientific study, interpretation and application of laws and regulations. You can also choose the more practice-oriented programme HBO Law at a university of applied sciences. In both programmes, you will learn how to efficiently work with legal codes and legislation, but the ability to read and understand case law is just as important. Case law consists of judicial decisions and rulings. Graduates in law often pursue legal careers such as judge, lawyer, public prosecutor, corporate legal counsel, civil-law notary or mediator.
